1.Goto  t-code :SPAD

2.Output Device—Enter

3.Get into CHANGE  Mode

4.Place the cursor on the  device that suits your type

5. OUTPUT DEVICE à LONGNAME

SHORT NAME      à  SHORTNAME

TAB: DEVICE ATTRIBUTES

DEVICE TYPE  à Select the most appropriate one from the Drill down menu.

SPOOL SERVER à NO CHANGE

DEVICE CLASS à STANDARD PRINTER

AUTHORIZATION GROUP à EMPTY

MODEL  à PRINTER MAKE/MODEL

LOCATION à  PLANT ADDRESS/POST

MESSAGE  à MESSAGE/ THE COLUMN NEXT TO PLANT ADDRESS

DO NOT TICK THE BOX FOR "Lock printer in SAP System".

TAB: HOST SPOOL ACCESS METHOD

HOST SPOOL ACCESS METHOD à ACCESS METHOD (S/P/N/U)

HOST PRINTER  à LONG NAME

DESTINATION HOST  à PRINT SERVER HOSTNAME/IP

TICK THE BOX FOR "Do not query host spooler for output status".

Save the Printer settings.

Click on the Icon for CHECK CONNECTION.

You must get the message "Remote Host server exists".

In change mode, click on the TRUCK Icon.

Transport Request Creation Screen appears à Click on CREATE and give Description.

A Transport Request number is assigned

COPY THE TR NUMBER

T-Code:  SE01

Give the TR Number  à DISPLAY

First Release the task and then the Transport Request.

(Place the cursor on the particular number and click on TRUCK Icon à Release Directly)
